The Chinese Centre for Adoption Affairs
On April 8th the Director and Deputy Directors of CCAA, the Chinese Centre for Adoption Affairs, visited Australia. About a dozen adoptive families met them for lunch at Parramatta Park with welcoming speeches given by DOCS and gifts exchanged by one and all. Xiao presented Director Zhang with some Easter eggs and she received many beautiful tokens in return. We were particularly thrilled to meet the Deputy Director in charge of the Matching Room and were able to thank her profusely for our 'perfect match". Deputy Director Ji from the Review Room and Deputy Director Liu spoke English and we had a great chat with them. Xiao even allowed Ji Gang to hold her - it is very unusual for Xiao to let strangers hold her.
